Lido Pool Repipe

This project on a mid-rise 14 floor building located in Downtown Denver included a full assessment of the rooftop pool and extensive piping modifications to bring it up to current performance standards. ​GPR scanning on the pool slab and foundation wall identified areas where core drilling for 4" holes for new pool supply inlets and supply lines could be installed. New commercial-grade 4"–2" EPDM link seals were installed, along with new 2-inch piping in key areas, including both Schedule 80 piping after the heat exchanger and additional Schedule 40 piping. Each new inlet was sealed and secured with grout to provide long-term durability. Floor return fittings were also installed at designated openings, completing the system and improving overall performance.​ The existing pool coating was patched and repaired to provide long term durability to the residents.
